Autumn Fly

Autumn flies also known as Musca autumnalis, these flies are usually seen around cattle and horses. If you look carefully you can see them on my face and around of eyes of the horse or cattle.

These flies survive by obtaining proteins from saliva and tears. they use their teeth to stimulate the flow of tears and saliva after that they feed on it

At night they usually rest and at day time they feed on sugars & animals

 

Bluebottle fly

Bluebottle flies are also known as blow flies they are commonly seen hovering around dustbins. these flies are usually attracted to dead animals and commonly know as carriers of diseases.They are ¼-½ in length and are metallic blue in color

Cluster fly

Cluster flies are commonly known as pollenia Rudis and they are normally found in quiet, undisturbed parts of your home such as wall void and sometimes you may see a large group of cluster flies around your window or around tube light because they are attracted to light. they are 5-10mm in length

 

Crane fly

Another name for crane fly is daddy long legs .they do not cause any harm to humans they won’t bite or string they are normally found in damp or mossy woodland 

*Adult crane flies  are 60mm long

*they are grey brown color

*crane flies legs are thin and long

 

Filter fly

Filter flies are known in many names such as drain fly, sewage flies, mouth fly, Psychodidae, etc.filter flies are often associated with sewage beds

*they are 2mm in length

*wings covered with hair

*Tan colored body

 

Fruit fly

Fruit flies are commonly found around fruits they wont cause any kind to harm to humans like biting or stringing they are 3mm in length,bright red eyes,yellow brown in color etc.
